Album Info:ex-Penn Central Road Tractor abandoned & derelict in Hoboken, NJ August 1980 PC #89240 These is not a "trackmobile", but a "road tractor". It was not equipped with hi-rail gear and therefore could not be used for on track operation; and were used for hauling freight cars through paved streets. To the best of my knowledge, these were used to service the Colgate - Palmolive Plant (as well as other industries in the Hoboken / Jersey City, New Jersey) area. all images © 1980 - Stanley Goldstein © 2017 - Philip M.
