Album Info:I was able to chase the southbound Ossipee Aggregate Quarry train on this highly scenic ex-B&M branch line. New Hampshire Northcoast Railroad conveys sand and gravel from a large pit / quarry in Ossipee, NH to the Boston area, where new construction creates a steady demand. The train runs every weekday. NHN connects with Pan Am Railways in Dover, NH, and Pan Am forwards the quarry train the rest of the way to Boston. This was an infrequent opportunity for me; finding myself in eastern New Hampshire on a weekday. I'm grateful I got the chance to chase the NHN Quarry train.
