Description: |
Built by the McGuire-Cummings Company of Chicago, IL in 1911, it served the IATR well. McGuire-Cummings produiced one of the finest trolley sweepers and was in high demand literally around the world. This one survived at least until 1966 when this photo was taken by an unknown rail fan. A note on the back states that this sweeper was by the Kennedy Warehouse in Clear Lake, IA. |
