New Safetrans |
Description: |
The signal on the right has been there for a few years, however the one on the left is fairly recent, which shows that the days of the CPL's are growing smaller and smaller. |

Permissive CPL |
Description: |
The signal at MP 124.7 has always been a favorite of mine, maily because of the hugely tall mast it is on and the yellow marker light. |

Bi-directional CPL's |
Description: |
These signals are found well south of the Akron Yard, where thedouble track main is bi-directional. The old Amtrak station can be seen in the distance. This picture is taken from the former EL right of way through Akron. Not sure who the random man in the photograph is by the signals, but he was watching me very carefully and suspiciously. |

Erie signal bridge |
Description: |
This is an abandoned signal bridge along the former Erie ROW. The parking lot is for the Akron-Beacon Journal, which uses the old EL freight house as an office. |
