Album Info:One of the Egyptian sights spotted along the expressway was the beautiful Ramses Station, the main railway station in Cairo for the Egyptian National Railways. Due to the tight schedule on the tour, all we could do was shoot a few pics of it as we went by. The original station on this site was built in 1856 while this later replacement was erected in 1896. It has been modernized several times since and currently is under another renovation.
