Album Info:Here we have a compilation of my photos,from a very interesting and hectic day on the Valley railroad, being that we only had one day to go, we did no scoping out of crossings and roads to have any clue where to go when chasing #3025. Also, it didn't help that i had never been there before. so having missed many of the days trains because of our lack of knowledge of back roads we have some photos of our rushed stop at the essex depot, and photos of the absolutely stunning New Haven 2-8-2 #3025 on the two last trains of the day, Enjoy :)

Description:  Something i didnt know about the Valley railroad, was that after the people are dropped off for the river boat, the train goes farther down the line. But im guessing that there is no passing siding at the farthest location to get the locomotive on the other end, so we ended up getting some good Boiler first shots!

Description:  #3025 skirts the bank of the river with the 3:30 train, the last train of the day, with no River boat connection. By the way! if you are new to photographer at the Valley railroad, the Afternoon trains are about the best for lighting!!
