This is a very dramatic view of Canadian National 4-8-4 #6167 on a trestle bridge somewhere in Canada. No date, location or photographer was give for this photo. In Canada, the 4-8-4 wheel configuration was labeled "Confederation" rather than the more common "Northern" label. Does anyone know if it took place and what its dispostion is now? History - MLW, March, 1940 Serial #69262. |

Just another day on the Adirondack Sub. |
Description: |
In 1993, big MLWs were still common on CP trains in the east. Here two examples provide the muscle while an RS18 leads the way. Worth noting are the remnants of the original 5" striping on the cab front wall of both M630s. Unfortunately, I don't know if this train had come north off the D&H or west from St. John. |
