Have seen these on several occasions and finally 'nabbed one! Fortunately Cabooses are still in frequent use in Thailand, here is a standard SRT type, class 'BBV' (Bogie, Brake Van) no. 50013. They are approximately 40' over couplers and feature an unmistakable combination bay window/cupola desighn. This one was on the end of an LNG tanker train of about 20 cars, at Kang Khoi Junction in Saraburi Province. [Km. post 125 from Bangkok, obviously!] That's quite an air reserviour under there, too! |

The poor thing was running fine, either she was next to another unit which had a spectacular fail, someone missed the mark fueling up, or she 'soiled' herself ['ouch!' -4022's a GE after all!].
