For a small place-there isnt much here in todays world, at least as far as the railroad is concerned, and what is sits mostly off the Turnpike interchange, yet it had a substantial station. This must have been someplace back in the day. The wood frame station stands as a reminder of those days on the MKT. It wont be here long, though. |

The MKT station at Big Cabin has not seen a train in many years, and has been left to the elements, as have many stations around the country. As a result, the shrubbery has grown up, in this case, obscuring the station almost completely from the road side. Yes, there is a station in there. You can see the edge of the roof at the left of the bush. |
