Title:  UP 1996 Where She Belongs, Leading Train ZLCBR
Description:  After the 1996 was unveiled in Roseville it wasnt very long before she found a permamnent assignment on the point of the Los Angeles/Brooklyn and return Z trains, the highest priority freights on the I-5 corridor and the modern equivalent of SP's Pacific Coast Expediter. UP 1996 kept this assignment until all the heritage SD70ACe's were rounded up in North Platte for a calendar photo, and after that the rule to keep them on home rails was seemingly abandoned. The ex-SP Dash 9 is also right at home on this train.
