Description:  CSX GP38-2 2696 (exSBD 6045, exx-WofA 6045, originally built as CRR 6045) to the WofA. This is the third paint scheme I shot it in, the first two was Family Lines paint (CSX era) and YN2. Here it was the local in Lewisburg and it was snowing, notice the white streaks in the photo.

Description:  The power for M781 is tied down on the old N.C.& St.L. Columbia Branch trackage at Lewisburg. This line originally ran from a connection with the N.C.&St.L. at Decherd, TN to Columbia, TN. The section between Columbia and Lewisburg was abandoned in 1945 while the section between Decherd and Fayetteville hung on until the mid-80's. CSX uses the remaining few miles to serve the Berry Plastics facility on the east side of Lewisburg.
