GBW 20 Combination RPO/Baggage, ex-GBW 53 or 54 Coach
Title:  GBW 20 Combination RPO/Baggage, ex-GBW 53 or 54 Coach
Description:  GBW 20 combination RPO/baggage, ex GBW 53 or 54 Coach, in front of the former C&NW Marion depot at the Marion Area Historical Society at Marion, WI on 9 Jul. '14. There were no obvious markings other than faint stencils on the trucks that included, "LUB PAD, NOR 6-6-66, GBW". It used to be displayed at Rapid River, MI; it was moved from there to Marion, WI on 2 Jul. ’13. Accnrding to http://greenbayroute.com/, GBW 20 was originally GBW 53 or 54, a 60'-0" coach built by Hicks Locomotive and Car Works in 1908; rebuilt as an RPO/baggage car in 1929-30. Sister GBW 21, ex-GBW 52, is on display at National Railroad Museum at Ashwaubenon, WI. GB&W donated sister GBW 22, ex-GBW 51, to the Wisconsin Historical Society in 1970 for display at Stonefield Village in Cassville, WI. I'm not sure if it is still there, it is not mentioned with the other RR equipment on their website.

SOO Octagonal Concrete Crossing Shanty
Title:  SOO Octagonal Concrete Crossing Shanty
Description:  A nicely restored SOO octagonal concrete crossing shanty at the Marion Area Historical Society at Marion, WI on 9 Jul. '14. A similar structure was displayed next to SOO 99116 caboose when it was located near the south end of the former SOO yard at Neenah, WI. Would it be safe to presume that this crossing shanty came from Neenah too?
