Description:  Canadian Pacific 144 is having her boiler blown-down in preparation for the daily mixed train to Chipman. Sister 4-4-0s 29 and 136 share the work. The caboose is the crew's sleeping quarters, it is not used in train service.

Description:  Canadian Pacific A2q 4-4-0 144 is ready to leave Norton's CN-CP station with the wood combine. More than half of the 44.6 mile trip was finished before some freight cars were picked-up. I was the only passenger for most of the round trip. The station is owned by the CN and shared with the CP. 144's engine house is in the background.
