Description:  Any time I went to Denver from KC, if time was not an issue, Id usually take US 40 west from Oakley, Kan, following the UPs ex Kansas Pacific line. I almost always saw something, though was not always able to get a shot. This day I caught an eastbound coal train near Kit Carson.
