Description:  Oil Power. Here is a duplicate 35mm color slide of Pennsylvania Railroad engine #8604, an AS-16M road switcher built by the American Locomotive Company in December of 1955, rated at 1,600 horsepower, and eventually acquired by the Florida Gulf Coast Railroad. The photographer's name, the exact date, and the location are not recorded. Produced and distributed by Slide Show Collection.

Description:  My prized catch. I am so thankful that the FRRM guys let me go snap some shots of her. SAL RS3 No. 1633 is out of commission due to a bad water pump. The irony is this engine actually belonged to the PRR when it was in revenue service. Nice the FRRM guys saw fit to restore her to something a bit more fitting to the region.
