Number 1242 is meeting GA Train #108 (the train I'm on), the last mixed train on a Class One in the US. I'm in the cupola of the caboose of Georgia Railroad Train Number 108. I purchased a ticket to ride in the Budd coach seen in the right foreground. The rear end crew, upon noticing my interest in railroading, invited me back to the caboose, which I graciously accepted. There is a reverse image artifact on the right side of the frame, which I cannot explain except perhaps that it's some piece of glass in the cupola. |
