Title:  Georgia Northern Gas Motor car 56
Description:  GANO 56 motor car sitting outside shop in Moultrie. It is coupled to the 172. This car and possibly the GANO 528 were used on the twice daily, except Sunday, local Boston to Moultrie. Two cars sat around the shops until scraped by the Southern about 1966. Date unknown but probably around mid 1950s.

Description:  This shows the platform at the station along with the house track. Each day, the local would come into town, run the wye and place the caboose and express car here at the station. This continued until the REA express went out of business. And, yes, there was a good amount of express business.

Title:  Caboose X153 in Albany
Description:  The GN X153 was parked at its regular location on track 4 at the Albany Passenger Terminal Company station. This photo must have been taken after the end of REA express as the express car is not coupled to the caboose. They were parked here to allow the transfer of express to/from the express car to/from the City of Miami or, earlier, the Seminole.

Title:  GNRY 325
Description:  Built by Rogers in 1887 as Chattanooga Rome & Columbus RR No. 4. When the CR&C became the Chattanooga Rome & Southern in 1897 it retained that number. The locomotive became CofG 1555 in 1901 when the Central took over the CR&S and it was renumbered 325 in the general renumbering of 1925. It was sold to Georgia Northern, retaining the same number, in 1940.
