This depot was built in the early 1960's when the paper mill was built at Cedar Springs and Saffold became the junction point between the ACL and the CIRR which served the paper mill. Behind me is the wye which leads to the joint CIRR/ACL yard. We are looking toward Alabama in this photo. Note the train order boards in this photo. |
