Here is another example of an ALCo-Brooks 4-6-2 Pacificbuilt in October of 1916 as Illinois Central #1141 (serial #56085). The loco was later rebuilt and served until it was scrapped in 1949. Rebuilt specs - 75.5" drivers, 215 psi boiler pressure, 26x28" cylinders, engine weight of 285,500 lb, tractive effort of 48,511 lb. No date or photographer was listed. |
