Description:  The "Going Real Slow" monkier for Guilford seemed more than applicable today, as the oil train seemed to be making 10-15 the whole way from Lewiston to Monmouth. The upside was that you could get ahead enough to shoot at every crossing and photo spot. Should note, the person in the car at the crossing was an oddity today, they had no camera and seemed less than interested in orange locomotives...Imagine!

Description:  Pan Am's WAPO with HLCX 8070 - HLCX 7192 - MEC 515 roils west across Rt. 132 in Monmouth, Maine in 2014. My friend and I were chasing a late POWA earlier that day then heard this train get paper from Waterville. POWA would hold for several hours at Leeds Jct. Im not a huge fan of leasers but I have always liked the BN green paint scheme so these were actually pretty cool to see during the time Pan Am leased a few between 2013 and mid 2014.

Description:  NS 3476 - MEC 606 - MEC 314 - MEC 509 are power for this about 70 car POWA of mostly St. John traffic with a few SAPPIs for Hinkley tacked on at the end. It was cool seeing this NS unit pass the old Maine Central building in Monmouth Maine. The NS leasers have been making their way east of Rigby a little more often in the last month or so.
