Coin Of the Realm: Six Axle GEs |
Description: |
Three GEs run a freight south (timetable eastbound) on the St Jo sub on a gorgeous Saturday morning. Decent train; great weather, but I watched this one go by and just couldn't get too excited about six axle GEs. 20 years ago it was SD40-2s. I'm sure that in the early '60s trains led by gray F-units were considered boring in these parts. These too shall pass. |
