Description:  #1361. Here is a postal card entitled "Pennsylvania 1361." No Postmark. Caption On Reverse: "Class K-4 Pacific locomotive speeds along the New York and Long Branch R.R. between South Amboy and the northern New Jersey shore, May 17, 1955. This locomotive is now on display at the world famous Horseshoe Curve, Altoona, Pa. Photo by Jim Kelly." Engine #1361 is a K-4S (4-6-2) "Pacific" built in Juniata during May of 1918 and retired in September of 1956 after 38 years of faithful service.

Title:  Belmar Terminal for the Day
Description:  Track work was being done on the lower half of the NJCL on the Shark River Drawbridge, so trains were only running between Belmar and Bay Head. On the other side of the bridge trains were running between Bradley Beach and Long Branch. There was a motor coach connection between Belmar and Asbury Park so that passengers could continue on to Long Branch where they could switch to a train to NYP.
