LIRR 611 leads a westbound Oyster Bay train into Greenvale. The sign notes it is the stop for CW Post College, and NY Institute of Technology. CW Post-founded with money from the cereal magnate-was by then part of the Long Island University system. One omission on the sign is the NY Chiropractic College, which was adjacent to CW Post just to the east on NY 25A. |
