Description:  TPPX 70099 was part of the consist of a CN local crossing Towmen Rd. as it crossed over from the former SOO main line to the former C&NW main line at Shawano Junction, WI on 14 Jan. '17. Shawano Junction is in Fox Crossing, WI (formerly Town of Menasha, WI until 14 Apr. '16). This spot used to be named Fox River Junction, after several segments of the original C&NW main line through Menasha and Neenah were removed and a turnout was installed here which allows the bypass of missing C&NW rails by using former SOO rails. Train was headed for Appleton, Little Chute, and Kaukauna. The former SOO main line is in the foreground.

Description:  TPPX 70100 woodchip gondola was part of the consist of a CN local crossing Thilmany Rd. while servicing the Expera Specialty Solutions (originally Thilmany Pulp and Paper Co.) paper mill on the banks of the Fox River via former C&NW rails at Kaukauna, WI on 9 May '17. Looking southeast along Thilmany Rd. It should be labeled Stribley Rd., but it appears that the remnants of Stribley Rd. and Thilmany Rd. will now just be referred to as the latter. Portions of both roads were altered or removed during the restoration of the original Thilmany mill (out of frame to the right) and the creation of its new parking lot.

Description:  TPPX 70100 woodchip gondola was part of the consist of a CN through freight setting out and picking up cars along Union St. at the north end of the former SOO yard at Neenah, WI, on 4 Apr. '20. Founded as the American Pulp & Paper Co. in 1883, it became Thilmany Pulp & Paper Co. (a.k.a. Thilmany, LLC or Thilmany Papers) in 1889, after Oscar Thilmany bought out his partners. It became Expera Specialty Solutions on 26 Jun. 2013, after KPS Capital Partners, LP, acquired it and Wausau Specialty Papers. It was acquired by Finland’s Ahlstrom-Munksjö on 10 Oct. ’18 and is currently known as Ahlstrom-Munksjö NA Specialty Solutions, LLC, Thilmany Mill.

Pieqce Ave./W. 8th St. grade crossing as it headed northeast via former C&NW rails at Appleton, WI on 22 Apr. '17. Train was headed for Little Chute and Kaukauna. The train would have been hidden behind the historic Pikrce Manufacturing plant that occupied this city block from 1917 until it was razed in 2011. This plot of land has been divided into lots for Habitat for Humanity and some homes have sprung up to partially obscure zhe view.
