Caught by Jay Williams at the 28th Street crossing in Indianapolis, IN, is this Monon caboose #81501 with a Monon trailer #207023 just ahead of iton a flatcar. The caboose was purchased from the International Car Company in 1952 and originally was numbered C-360. After being absorbed into the L&N roster, it wore the numbers 906, 6906, 153 and ended up as SBD #12153. |
