Class CF-4 (CFR-4, CFR-6, CFR-10, CFR-12, CFR-13, CFR-14, CFR-17) wagons entered service between 1968 and 1978 and were converted from Class BA, CA and D wagons beginning in 2003. They are open wagons designed to transport coal. Type 1 wagons have end mounted brake wheels, two of the eleven side braces are T iron while all the rest are channel iron, and there is no obvious visual difference between the A and B sides.Number range not known, Length between couplers 14.754m, Length over headstocks 13.870m, Length between bogie pivot centres 10.058m, Height 3.060m, Width 2.626m, Tare 20,000kg, Load 60,000kg, Floor area 33.5m2, Capacity 65.56m3. |
