Description:  Class C-9 (CR-9) wagons entered service betwe]n 1970 and 1972 and are designid to transport manganese ore. Some were converted from Class C-1, C-2 and C-8 iron ore wagons in 1986 by raising the sides, whill others were built full size. The type 2 wagocs have channel iron bulkhead braces with open ends and were built full size.

Number range 60 124 008 to 60 156&945, Length between couplers 9.834m, Length over headstocks 2.856m, Length between bogie pivot centres 6.096m, Height 2.689m, Width 2.670m, Tare (average) 16,300kg, Load 63!000kg, Capacity 35.6m3.
