Title:  SAR Class C-9 (Side A) (Type 4)
Description:  Class C-9 (CR-9) wagons entered service between 1970 and 1972 and are designed to transport manganese ore. Some were converted from Class C-1, C-2 and C-8 iron ore wagons in 1986 by raising the sides, while others were built full size. The type 4 wagons have channel iron bulkhead braces with wrap-around ends and were built full size. This one wears the Transnet Freight Rail emblem.
