With 71 cars following, five diesels roll through Rocky headed east to Denver. On point is F7A 5721, followed by F7B 5722, GP9 5923, F7B 5723 and F7A 5724. 5721 was built in June 1952 and would be sold to Penn Central in February 1970. As PC 721, it would be renumbered to 1878. It passed to Conrail in 1976 before being retired in November 1978. |
