Southern train #167
Title:  Southern train #167
Description:  Southern 211 was an ex-CofG GP35. I have been told that a quick way to determine if a Southern unit was ex-CofG or ex-Southern was that ex-CofG units were set up to run short hood forward while ex-Southern units were set up to run long hood forward. Note the small block near the end of the short hood end of the frame on the 211 indicating the forward end. I am told this means of identification applies to Southern/CofG GP7's as well
