Shown here is Pennsylvania Railroad engine #636, a D-4 (Anthracite) (4-4-0) "American" built in the Altoona Machine Shops during November of 1875 and retired in May of 1901 after 26 years of faithful service. |

Chicago Burlington & Quincy Railroad PMC (Passenger Motor Car) 9817 at Galesburg, Illinois on an unknown day in 1949, from the collection of P. Stringham, print by William A. Raia, Chuck Zeiler collection. Number 9817 was built by Pullman in August 1928 as CB&Q 629, powered by an EMC Winton gasoline engine (c/n 294) producing 275 horsepower. In May 1930 number 629 was renumbered to 9629, renumbered again in April 1934 to 9817. In November 1951 number 9817 was de-motored and converted to passenger baggage car 3664. |
