Details - the double taper, the curved cab windows, even the ACI tag is still here. I probably wouldn't model the moss though.

BN #987
Title:  BN #987
Description:  BN NW5 #987, still in GN paint in Interbay (Balmer) Yard in Seattle, in September 1973. The #987 was built in December 1946 as GN #187. The #987 was retired in April 1982 and sold in July 1982 to Pacific Transportation Services, then resold to REPCO (Replinger?) and stored in Mineral, WA, then acquired by the East Portland Traction Co. as #187. EPTC's line and operations were acquired by the Oregon Pacific RR, and in more recent times the #187 was stored at the former Gold Junction, which is located along the southern border of the Sellwood neighbourhood of Portland, OR. Scanned with an Epson V550 from an original Kodachrome 35mm slide. Date is approximate. Photographer is unknown.

PRR 4-6-2 #1546
Title:  PRR 4-6-2 #1546
Description:  On the right in the photo is PRR 4-6-2 Pacific #1546 built by the PRR Juniata Shops in May of 1912, one of the famous K-4s class members. The loco served for over 39 years before being scrapped in November of 1951. The loco on the left is difficult to read its number - something like 5232 or 5982. No location, date, or photographer was listed for this photo unfortunately. Thanks to Tom Beckett and especially Robert Hess (see comments below) for the interesting info on these and identifying the locaiton. Thanks to both of you!
