Title: |
Baltimore & Ohio 0-8-0 #849 |
Description: |
Another L-1 (or L-1a) class switcher sits patiently with a clean shine on most of its surface, obviously well cared. Date on the front just lists it as 1957. Other B&O 0-8-0 have scrapped by this time so it's probably on borrowed time. |

Title: |
Baltimore & Ohio 2-8-0 #2692 |
Description: |
Ralph G. Dunn captured the sad scene of this once proud loco. Drivers removed, boiler plate gone, bell, whistle and external tubes all pulled from its body, leaving a sad shell. Unfortunately, no date or location were given so arbitrary ones were set. Number 2692 was rebuilt in 1941 to 0-8-0 713 at Cumberland, renumbered to 1635 in 1954, renumbered again in 1956 to 849, scrapped in 1959. |
