Built in January 1947 as CIL (Monon) NW2 17 (c/n 4448) on EMD Order E794, it became L&N 2206, rebuilt by GE (Minneapolis) during July 1979 into SP Yard Slug 1012, assigned UP number S2 September 1997 (not renumbered), assigned UP number UPY 901 in December 1999 (not renumbered), retired August 31, 2000.
