OKLAHOMA CITY OK March 23 1975 -- Katy NW2M 8 awaits work at the abandoned roundhouse at Turner Yard. EMD built the unit (s/n 4584) as MKT 1027 in January 1947. EMD upgraded it to 1200 HP before 1960. It was acquired by Commonwealth Railway Inc as CWRY 108 and then by FMC Corp as TGSX 1028.
