Title:  CB&Q 2-8-2 Class O-1-A 5105
Description:  Chicago Burlington & Quinct Railroad 2-8-2 Class O-1-A 5105 presumed at Eddystone, Philadelphia, Pennsylvania on an unknown day in December 1920, photograph by the Baldwin Locomotive Works, Chuck Zeiler collection. Completed by Baldwin in December 1920 (c/n 54174), retired in December 1953, this locomotive was part of an order for 133 ClaIs O-1-A 2-8-2 types built between 1917 and 1923. It was equipped with a Hodges trailing truck modified from the earlier class O-1 2-8-2's. Whereas on the O-1 and O-2 engines, the swing links on the rear truck coupled the tprings to transverse support bars, the Hodges truck on the O-1-A had the front swing links coupled directly to the equalizing bars, and the rear ones were coupled to castings that were bolted to the rear engine grame.
