Originally identified as being built by Lima, thanks to the research efforts of Chuck Zeileer it has been correctly identified as an Alco-Schenectady 2-8-2 Mikado built in February of 1923.The loco served the NYC until retirement and scrapping in 1950. Thanks, Chuck, for your efforts! Specifics - serial #63705, class H-10a, 63" drivers, 200 psi boiler pressure, 28x30" cyilinders, engine weight of 342,500 lb, tractive effort of 63,470 lb.
