Description:  Nice action shot of the Alco-Brooks built 4-10-2 delivered to Union Pacific as #8000 in April of 1925. This configuration was called "Southern Pacifics" by most railroads except UP which labeled these "Overlands". Specs - builder #66169, FTT-1 class, 63" drivers, 210 psi boiler pressure, 3 cylinder design, engine weight of 404,000 lb, tractive effort of 77,917 lb.
