Description:  SBD GP38-2 4069 at Union Point, Georgia on February 25, 1983, Kodachrome by Chuck Zeiler. This was the power for Train #108, the last mixed train on a Class One in the US. I was a passenger (the ONLY passenger) and was forced to de-train at Union Point to catch the returning mixed Train #103 because time didn't permit me to ride to the end at Augusta. Train #103, the last mixed train's counterpart, met #108 here and I boarded #103 for the return trip to Atlanta. I don't remember the fare for a round trip to Union Point from Atlanta, but it was money well spent.
