Up the hill a few blocks is where I grew up and my parents still reside. This whole area was a feild of brush and trees when I was a kid and I would come down here and watch the C&W pass through with their Alco T-6's pulling 15 to 20 cars. Most of the grain cars were brought in by the Southern on the north end of town. |
