80-Ton "Heavy Duty" Flat built in 1952 for overseas use. At one time Fort Eustis had a European train, a train set of just link and pin couplers. Four american built (european coupler) flat cars remain at TA-29 for soldiers to practice loading and unloading flat cars. Pressed Steel Company built these 80-Ton flats in 1953. |
