| Burlington Northern Railroad SD7 6048 at Galesburg, Illinois on an unknown day in June 1981, Kodachrome by Chuck Zeiler. Built as CB&Q SD7 400 in November 1952 (c/n 17396) on EMD Order 5140, it became BN 6048 and was retired in August 1983. It is seen here with the exhaust stacks covered, but would return to service for a couple of more years. |
