| A pair of WAMX ( Former Quebec Southern Railway ) GP38-2'S & a WAMX ( Former UP ) SD40-2 are sitting in the servicing facility at Alabama Southern Railroad's Tuscaloosa Yard. These 2 former GP35's were rebuilt to GP38-2 standards & now are being parted out & are no longer in service anymore as well as 2 others. The ones painted in the WAMX scheme are still active. WAMX 3813 & 3856 are the GP38-2'S I know of still active. The 3856 is one of the former GP35'S that was rebuilt to GP38-2 standards |
