SAR Class C-7 (Side B) (Type 2)         
Class C-7 (CR-7) wagons entered service between 1975 and 1977 and are designed to transport manganese ore. Some were converted from Class C-3 iron ore wagons between 1980 and 1981 by raising the sides, while others were built full size. The type 2 wagons had their sides raised by about 600mm.

Number range 60 099 720 to 60 105 216, Length between couplers 9.834m, Length over headstocks 8.856m, Length between bogie pivot centres 6.096m, Height 2.689m, Width 2.670m, Tare (average) 16,870kg, Load 58,000kg on Spoorbarber bogies or 64,000kg on HS Mk III & VII bogies, Capacity 30.9m3.
