The bridge over Belle-Riviere was originally built in 1875 by the Quebec, Montreal, Ottawa & Occidental Railway. Between 1883 and 1979, it was used by Canadian Pacific (Lachute subdivision) and is now on the Quebec & Gatineau Railway Lachute subdivision.
