NP GALLATIN RIVER         
RE-UPLOAD due to missing file. NP Pullman modernized heavyweight business car GALLATIN RIVER (ex-#4, nee-Pullman NEWPORT) (Lot #4422, Plan #2502B, November 1916), built as the Pullman-owned NEWPORT, modernized (semi-streamlined) and temporarily renamed to PURETEST from March to December 1936 for assignment to the United Drug Company's REXALL TRAIN, sold to the NP in December 1941, to #4 in July 1942, named GALLATIN RIVER in May 1957, to BN via merger in March 1970, sold in March 1971 to Mr. Nagy for his "Andy's Diner" restaurant, and moved to their Seattle location, restaurant later became the "Orient Express", car still in situ as of 2024. Scanned with an Epson V550 from a duplicate Ektachrome 35mm slide. Date is approximate. Photographer is unknown.
