WAB CITY OF WABASH         
WAB Pullman modernized heavyweight 37 seat parlor-observation CITY OF WABASH (ex-EMBASSY) (Lot #6065, Plan #3957B/J, April 1927), built for assignment to the B&M's AMBASSADOR (with 26 seats), said assignment lasted until June 1941, reassigned to the Monon in October 1942, sold to the WAB at the 12/31/1945 Pullman parlor divestiture, renamed to CITY OF WABASH in May 1954 (and modernized at same date), retired in August 1956 and later sold to James Seacrest as the SAN ESTEBAN, later resold to the Keokuk Junction RY as the #1 CHIEF KEOKUCK, later resold to the Grand Canyon RY, later resold to the New Orleans Public Belt and rebuilt by Pete Messina as diner LOUISIANA, resold in 2022 to the Iowa Northern RY as the SHELL ROCK RIVER, to CN via merger in 2023. Scanned with an Epson V550 from a duplicate Ektachrome 35mm slide. Date, location, and photographer are unknown.
