Good example of the "modern" Rocky the Goat logo with bladk Rocky on a reefer yellow background. Unfortunately, the b&w photo doesn't show the colors. The car was built by the Pacific CAr & Foundry (operated by the Great Northern) circa 1953. It had ice bunkers with circulation fans and was equipped with plug doors. This image comes from the original negative now in my collection taken by Hoosier rail fan Dick Berry. |
