BNSF 7603 and 2 other ES44DC's leading a double stack train through Kingman Canyon near Kingman, AZ. Note the heat distortion coming from the dynamic brake grids of these 3 units. The railroad quickly goes from very straight 70mph running to a 3=mph twisty canyon in a very short distance and Westbounds are in FULL dynamic braking from the depot in Kingman until about 2 miles from here, then it's run8 again all the way to Needles, CA. |
