A work train hauling a load of rails idles facing eastbound at the CSX yard in South Connellsville, Pa. CSX 6412 EMD GP40-2 is former C&O 4274 built in January 1978. It received the new YN3 paint at Huntington, WV in 2009. Before that, this locomotive looked like a total mess. CSX 2230 Road Slug is former C&O 3539 GP35 built in June 1964. The CPL tower you see on the right is still functional. |
